The TP Link pages for the WN725N contain some documentation for the process of installing the drivers within a Linux environment ( ) but this will likely not be possible within Chrom*OS if you do not have low level access to the file system. It would be interesting to see if an official Chromebook is able to recognise the device? Chrom*OS is unlikely to have an awareness of the USB device, and will not be able to load drivers. If a USB wireless (or any other feature set other than generalised storage / audio) dongle is inserted, Windows / Linux would generally need to install a small driver package so the system understands what the USB device does, and how to make use of it. The problem here is that Chrom*OS is designed and distributed with the expectation of using onboard components.
